All CA Rotary & Hatchback brand machines come with a one year limited manufacturer's warranty. This warranty covers any manufacturer's defect - this means any part that fails on the machine within this time frame, if this should happen.

Hatchback Irons – Sharp Pen One-Year Limited Warranty


Effective Date: [Date of Purchase]

Warranty Period: One (1) year from the date of purchase


Hatchback Irons warrants the Sharp Pen to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.


What Is Covered:

•Manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship

•Mechanical or electrical failures under normal use


What Is Not Covered:

•Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect

•Any tampering, unauthorized modifications, or disassembly of the device

•Exposure to liquids, including ink, cleaning solutions, or any other fluids

•Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or surface scratches

•Damage caused by improper power supply, voltage fluctuations, or short circuits


Warranty Void Conditions:


This warranty will be immediately void if:

•The Sharp Pen has been tampered with, modified, or disassembled in any way.

•Any liquid, ink, or foreign substances are found inside the device.

•The device is used in a manner inconsistent with the manufacturer’s instructions.


Warranty Claim Process:


To initiate a warranty claim, please contact Hatchback Irons at [contact information] with proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue. If your claim is approved, we will repair or replace the defective unit at our discretion. The customer is responsible for shipping costs to Hatchback Irons, and we will cover the cost of return shipping for valid warranty claims.

Limitation of Liability:


Hatchback Irons shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the use of the Sharp Pen. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction.

 

Supplier Warranty:


Any machines purchased under supplier or wholesale pricing must be sold and reported to us within one (1) year of the original purchase date. Any units sold after one year, or not reported within that time, are not eligible for warranty coverage.


Suppliers who purchase machines for resale must also confirm with us if any units have not been sold within one (1) year of the original purchase date. This ensures all machines remain eligible for warranty and are delivered to the end user in proper, approved condition.

Warranty is voided and you will not be refunded if you:


  1. Over-lubricate your machine
  2. Drop your machine (on the floor or in liquid)
  3. Tamper with the motor
  4. Replace parts on your own
  5. Use stiff or CIF membranes — only medium and soft membranes are approved. Stiff membranes create excessive resistance that overworks the motor and can lead to premature failure.
  6. Use faulty or damaged cartridges that cause internal damage to the machine. Cartridge-related damage is not covered under warranty.
