Back in 1998, 30-year professional tattoo artist Emerson Forth was looking for a coil machine that married the perfect spring tension with reliable performance and weight distribution. He couldn’t find it, so he designed and holds a US Patent for the celebrated Hatchback (US patent no.8,356,533), respected and used throughout the world. Since then, Emerson has refined and evolved the model into the Hatch-O-Matic, Mini Jonesy, Shank and Spider Liner.
Fast forward to 2019, and Emerson was driven to create a rotary machine that had the punch of a coil and the weight of a pen. So he and his life long friend, 30-year industrial designer and machinist Jesse Brody, teamed up to start CA Rotary Tattoo Supply.
